Bobcat Basketball
The Briery Branch Bobcats will be traveling to Lynchburg, VA on Saturday, March 17th for the VA State tournament for Christian teams. We wish them well in the tremendously compeititive competition. Last year the team placed 3rd. We're definitely hoping for that or better this year. GO BOBCATS!

Briery Branch Trip to Pulaski
We are glad to report that the men from the Briery Branch Church excelled on their trip to help tornado victims in Pulaski, VA. While there, in addition to various other jobs, the men completely built a house from the foundation plates to the paper on the roof in 3 days! This included the interior framing of the walls and a dormer roof over an extended area of the living space. Members of the group also moved 16 ton of gravel by wheelbarrow to fill around the foundation of another house. They did this in one day. All in all the leaders of the project where very pleased with what our guys did. But it doesn't surprize us, because we know what kind of men the Briery Branch Church have.

Cookbooks can be picked up through the week at Julie Howdyshell's home. Please call 828-4266 before stopping by. Once you receive your book, please check it over for defects, missing pages, etc. (not typos) and let Julie know of any problems.

SENIOR CTIZENS' MEETING SCHEDULED
The Seniors will be meeting on Thurday, March 15th with a carry in dinner at the Activities Center. The meeting will include a display of dancers from the Bridgewater Home. This will prove to be a delightful afternoon. Hope all seniors and your friends can come to this meeting.
